Emily Greenwood

Director & Piano Teacher

Emily Greenwood has been playing piano for 25 years and teaching since 2013. An expert in music theory and a skilled pianist, she has a BA(Hons) in Popular Music and Recording as well as a Master of the Arts in Education and Music from Liverpool Hope University.

Emily has great experience in teaching people from the age of 4, all the way up to people in their middle-ages; she is excellent at tailoring lessons to individuals' needs and is more than comfortable in assisting and teaching people who may consider themselves to have a disability.

Emily grew up in Cornwall and enjoys being by the sea. Emily also enjoys visiting and exploring Japan when possible!

Sarah Lockett

Manager & Piano Teacher

Sarah Lockett has been playing piano since 2005 and has worked in the piano industry since 2013. She graduated in 2012 with BA(Hons) in Popular Music and Recording and a Masters of Music in 2013. Amongst teaching, she has worked as a acoustic piano specialist in a number of piano showrooms in the UK.

Sarah has much experience teaching students of all ages. Her ability to connect with her students and create a positive learning environment is what makes her stand out as an exceptional teacher.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys traveling the world, hiking, reading and skateboarding.

Rebecca Corfield

Piano Teacher

Rebecca Corfield has been playing piano for 13 years and has been teaching with EEPT since September 2021. She has passed her Grade 8 theory and graduated from Salford University with a BA (Hons) in Popular Music and Recording. Currently, she is practicing for her Grade 8 ABRSM performance exam alongside teaching piano and composing for games and film.

Rebecca has done quite a bit of travelling as she is an avid snowboarder, she has been to mountains in Austria, Norway, Bulgaria, and France!

Matt Low

Piano Teacher

Matt Low is a classically trained pianist from Liverpool, and has been performing publicly since the age of 13 at venues such as St George’s Hall and the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. In 2022 Matt graduated from the University of Manchester with a first class honours in Music, with special acclaim in Piano Performance and Musical Analysis.

Matt is passionate about making musical education more accessible, with particular focus put on combating socio-economic barriers described in his undergraduate dissertation. As a teacher, Matt immerses his students into music as a broad subject, not just focusing on theory and notation but also on musical culture and developing a musical ear.

Ben Wili

Piano Teacher

Hailing from the South, Ben has been studying piano for more than 15 years. He began his musical career at age 8, singing as a chorister, and has since worked professionally as a trumpeter, composer, pianist and teacher. In 2021, Ben was awarded a scholarship to study the piano at the Royal Northern College of Music, and now works as a freelance pianist, composer, and teacher.

As a teacher, Ben seeks to foster a flexible and supportive environment to develop a healthy technique, a well-rounded comprehension of music, and an active imagination. By tailoring his approach to each individual, Ben aims to give interesting, fun and confidence-inspiring lessons to players of all abilities.

Harry Fletcher

Piano Teacher

At just 24 years old, Harry has already established a remarkable career in music, combining extensive performance experience with a passion for teaching. A dedicated pianist for 14 years, Harry has expanded their expertise to include organ performance and vocal skills, currently contributing their talents at Manchester Cathedral.

Harry's impressive performance resume includes prestigious venues such as the BBC Proms, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and Bridgewater Hall. Notably, they have played on some of the most iconic organs in the UK, including those at Westminster Abbey and Canterbury Cathedral. Their recent role as Assistant Organist at Shrewsbury Abbey further highlights their versatility and skill in the field.

An alumnus of Manchester University, Harry pursued a rigorous education in Music before completing a PGCE to specialise in teaching. For the past two years, they have served as Head of Music at Bedstone College, where they have been instrumental in shaping the musical education of their students.

With a blend of performance excellence and educational leadership, Harry continues to inspire and influence both the musical community and their students.

Martin Jacoby

Piano Teacher

Martin has performed throughout the UK as a solo and chamber musician. Highlights include multiple performances at the Nottingham Albert Hall, a six-night run of an original lecture recital entitled ‘Debussy and Ravel: Earth and Water’ at the Petersham Playhouse which featured a complete performance of Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit , several appearances with violinist Hannah Roper at the Three Choirs Festival as well as appearances at Steinway Hall and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Martin also performs regularly onboard cruise liners for Cunard and Fred Olsen both as a soloist and in a duo with saxophonist and composer Jennifer Watson.

Better known as a recording artist and composer, Martin signed a record deal with Ameritz Music in 2014. Over the course of several years, he made more than 100 recordings of classical, contemporary and original works. Notable releases include Debussy: Images, an album of Mozart’s Piano Sonatas as well as two full length original albums plus an EP of original works featuring the Up North Session Orchestra. At present Martin’s complete catalogue has been streamed hundreds of millions of times online and he has received radio plays from a host of countries across the globe.

Charlotte Riley

Piano Teacher

Charlotte is an enthusiastic musician and compassionate educator with over 11 years of experience in the field of education. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Popular Music and Recording in 2013 and relishes in playing various instruments, composing music, and singing. Her zest for music has led her to perform in a variety of ensembles, and she continues to expand this hobby.

After graduating, Charlotte began her teaching career in schools and academies, excelling in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. She is deeply committed to fostering equitable opportunities, encouraging each individual to reach their full potential while embracing their unique qualities.

In her spare time, Charlotte loves to be in nature with her adventurous dog, advocates for environmental stewardship, and is passionate about neurodiversity.

Haley Tang

Piano Teacher

Haley is a dedicated pianist with over 18 years of teaching experience. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Education from The Education University of Hong Kong. After graduating, he taught at various international schools and composed music for television and global brands, including work on commercial soundtracks.

Passionate about making music education more inclusive, Haley tailors his lessons to each student’s learning style. He has guided students to achieve Distinction in piano exams and helped them earn awards at music festivals. Haley teaches in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Laura Willett

Piano Teacher

Laura has been playing the piano since the age of 8. Growing up, Laura played tuned percussion in Music Service orchestra’s and carried this on through university where she graduated with a BA Hons in Musical Arts at Salford University.

In 2023 Laura graduated from a Post-Graduate Course in Education at Manchester Metropolitan University and now enjoys being a class teacher in Primary Schools and is inspired by children’s willingness and enjoyment of learning.

In her spare time Laura enjoys reading, going for walks and spending time with family.

Joash Gill

Piano Teacher

Joash has been playing piano since the age of 7 and is dedicated to empowering young people through music.

He has graduated from the University of Salford with a Bsc (Hons) in Sound Engineering, and is experienced in music workshop facilitation.

A passionate musician, Joash spends his time producing, writing and recording tracks which have been played on platforms such as BBC Radio 1 and BBC Asian Network.

His performance skills have taken him around the world including Bangalore, India on a cultural exchange project in association with Manchester Museum; as well as Buenos Aires, Argentina, being the first UK artist to perform at Ranchear festival.
